Welcome to the Cinderella Galleries     What is a "cinderella"? We don't know it exactly. We might say that it's something that makes you utter out loud "What the heck is this?". Basically it's a stamp-like object but not a postage stamp. Yet this is too wide a definition, revenues and fiscals are stamp-like too but no one considers them cinderellas. While a true non-Scott listed postage stamp may well be considered a cinderella by most collectors in the USA. Certainly labels, poster stamps, fantasies, postal ephemera, charity stamps are cinderellas but the inclusion of a postage stamp in the cinderella category depends also on which catalogue we use.     So we better try a definition based on what we will and will not post on our Cinderella Galleries: all sort of postage stamps, locals, varieties, railway stamps, fantasy creations go to the Stamp Galleries. All that's left go here. Revenues and fiscals don't belong to any of these 2 sections and we will try not to post them. Of course from time to time fiscals have shown up and will keep on showing up in both categories - alas, we are not expert on the subject - they will not be removed once we find out what they are.     We being judge of what shall be listed here is not an optimal solution, we admit it, we will surely make many mistakes.
